About the practice group ...
eclectic information’s Small Business Development and Support practice group is specifically designed for the information technology (IT) needs of small businesses. The goal of this practice group is to maximize the productivity of our clients' investment in information technology and provide our clients with a competitive advantage in the marketplace through information technology.
Ready or not, we are in an information age, where organizations require access to a growing array of information resources to remain competitive. Information is knowledge and knowledge is power. The market demands highly efficient communications; time-to-market pressures require ever-greater efficiency; rapidly changing customer requirements demand organizations that can react and respond quickly. An organization's success is determined by their ability to transfer information quickly, effectively and efficiently. Being a small business ourselves, we are keenly aware of the challenges facing businesses today.
As organizations increase their dependence upon information systems, their need for IT experts to design, develop and support those systems increases. This is where eclectic information can help. We want to function as your Department of Information Technology (DoIT). Indeed, organizations in many industries are outsourcing more of their IT functions to outside service providers that can provide quality services. This allows those organizations to focus more of their time and energies on the organization's core business - to improve corporate performance and profitability, and to gain a competitive advantage in today's marketplace.
Let eclectic DoIT ...![]()
In order to achieve our goal and provide your organization with the best possible service, eclectic information is offering an eclectic DoIT plan. Our DoIT plan is an annual plan requiring a prepaid investment that guarantees 12 pre-planned half-day on-site visits, one per month. The topics for the visits are:
Planning (4) - Establish a strategic information technology plan, inventory
all hardware and software, establish system security procedures
Performance (4) - Analyze system capacity and performance, server and
workstation tuning
Maintenance (4) - Perform preventive maintenance on workstations, printers, and
servers, establish a daily/weekly system backup procedure and schedule
eclectic can perform developmental, maintenance and troubleshooting work on a schedule, such as two mornings a week for two hours, or on an as needed basis. All of our on-site service visits are billable and none can be used in lieu of the pre-planned half-day visits.

provide the client with an estimated arrival time. Of course the most critical
requests will receive top priority.

the most efficient communication method.

activities and less on the ongoing day-to-day support and maintenance of an IT
infrastructure.
2) Access to current technology. Your organization will have access to
the leading IT practices and technology. To remain successful, the
eclectic staff has an extensive knowledge base and skill set which is
continuously improving.

changes. This is crucial when time-to-market is of the essence. Having the
ability to stay ahead of the curve, rather than falling behind, translates to a
competitive advantage.

to end-user problems by providing these users with a single point-of-contact
